Where is Vancouver?

Vancouver is located in the southwest corner of British Columbia, on the Pacific coast of Canada. The city sits on the Burrard Peninsula, surrounded by the waters of the Burrard Inlet to the north and the Fraser River to the south, with the Coast Mountains rising just beyond the city. Despite being BC’s largest city, Vancouver is not the provincial capital — that title belongs to Victoria, located on nearby Vancouver Island.
It takes less than an hour to drive to the US border at Blaine, Washington.
