Moving2Canada CRS Calculator helps you check your eligibility for the Express Entry pool and get your CRS score.

Why Use the Moving2Canada Instant CRS Calculator?

Using the Moving2Canada Express Entry CRS Calculator offers key advantages compared to the one provided by Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

Comparison table of Moving2Canada CRS Calculator vs. IRCC CRS Score Calculator

1. Assess your eligibility to enter the Express Entry pool

Our CRS Point Calculator also assesses your eligibility to enter the pool of candidates, something the IRCC tool doesn’t directly tell you.

2. Account for language skills, even without test results.

Our CRS points calculator allows you to estimate your language skills without needing your test results. This feature helps you plan ahead, giving you a more complete picture of your CRS score while you wait to take the test, a flexibility the IRCC tool doesn’t provide.

3. Find out which Express Entry programs you may be eligible for.

In addition to calculating your score, the Moving2Canada calculator shows which Express Entry program(s) you might be eligible for—whether that’s the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class, or Federal Skilled Trades Program. The IRCC tool doesn’t provide this level of detail, which can be super helpful when figuring out your path.

4. Compare your score to previous Express Entry draws

Our calculator includes a feature that lets you compare your score with the minimum CRS scores from recent Express Entry draws. This helps you assess how competitive your score is and understand your chances in future draws, something the IRCC tool doesn’t show.

While the IRCC calculator is helpful, the Moving2Canada CRS Calculator goes the extra mile to provide you with more detailed, personalized insights. From assessing your eligibility to comparing your score against past draws, our tool is designed to give you the context and confidence you need throughout your immigration journey.

How to Use Our CRS Points Calculator

What’s a Competitive CRS Score for Express Entry?

That always changes depending on a few factors:

  • The points requirement (or “cut-off”) changes from draw to draw.
  • The lowest score for category-based Express Entry draws also varies every draw an trhough the year.
  • Amount of Active profiles in the pool
  • Amount of active profiles per range

Competitiveness within the specific point ranges

0-300 Points: Explore alternatives 🔍

Especially if you don’t have skilled Canadian work experience, Canadian diplomas and low scores in language tests in both English and French. It’s probably a good idea to explore alternative ways to move to Canada.

300-399 Points: Provinces may start looking for you 👀

Some provinces have invited candidates with scores in this range through the Provincial Nominee Program. Always make sure to check your options to be nominated for a PNP. You can use our tool to know how to choose the right PNP for you.

400-550 Points: Getting better 😎

Candidates in this range can shoot up the rankings with some seemingly minor improvements that can have a big effect, especially when it comes to language, work experience not mentioned, etc. Check here how to improve your score with minor changes.

550+ Points: Strong 💪🏻

This is a great CRS score. While it cannot be guaranteed that you will receive an invitation, a score above 550 is nonetheless very competitive. If you do want to see about getting even more points, check out these points-boosting opportunities.
