The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has released the results of its latest Expression of Interest (EOI) draw. On September 18, 2025, the province issued 911 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under the Skilled Worker Stream.

This draw comes just two weeks after Manitoba’s record-breaking September 4 round, which issued the largest of any MPNP draw in 2025 so far.

Key Takeaways

  • Total invitations: 911 under the Skilled Worker Stream.
  • 341 candidates held valid Express Entry profiles and job seeker codes.
  • Majority of invitations were issued under a temporary public policy, alongside targeted initiatives for Francophones, regional, and ethnocultural communities.
  • September draws (4,200+ invitations combined so far) signal Manitoba’s largest monthly activity in 2025.

How This Manitoba PNP Draw Compares to Previous Rounds

The September 18 draw, with 911 invitations, was smaller than the September 4 mega-round (3,347 invitations) but still larger than Manitoba’s summer draws. The earlier draws dipped as low as 19 invitations in July.

Together, the two September draws issued 4,258 invitations, the highest monthly total so far in 2025. This increase in Manitoba’s draw coincides with increased activity in other provinces. For example, Alberta’s PNP issued 1,376 invitations in early September across seven draws.

A key difference was the use of the temporary public policy, which dominated September 18 with 847 invitations. By contrast, July and August draws were much smaller and focused only on targeted recruitment categories.

Express Entry-linked candidates also continue to feature prominently, with 341 invitations in this round compared to 415 on September 4.

What This Draw Means for Candidates

There are two key takeaway for candidates from the September 18, 2025 Manitoba PNP draw:

  • Community entry points: Invitations reserved for Francophone, regional, and ethnocultural applicants show that Manitoba is widening access beyond Winnipeg and Regina.
  • Candidates with local ties or language skills now have more pathways to succeed.
  • Temporary policy impact: With nearly 850 invitations tied to a special public policy, candidates who might not otherwise qualify have a unique chance to be considered. Staying alert to program updates is now just as important as meeting traditional eligibility.
