- Here’s a weekly recap of this week’s Express Entry draw!
- First up, on March 12, Canada had its biggest General draw of the year, inviting 2,850 candidates with a minimum CRS score of 525 points.
- The current trend also suggests a return to bi-weekly general draws since late January.
- The next day, on March 13, Canada held its first transport-specific category-based draw, inviting 875 candidates with a minimum score of 430 points!
- This was the third time they’ve done a draw like this
- And as expected, the score trend aligns with other category-based draws, such as those in healthcare and agriculture, which have cut-offs scores between 420-440 points.
- But, these are higher than the points needed for French-speaking applicants, who only need 336 points, showing Canada’s diverse criteria based on occupation-demand and language skills within its immigration framework.
