Our Analysis of This Month’s Express Entry Draws

In addition to leading the board for the number of draws, July 2024 has seen the most invitations issued for any month in 2024.

Here are the monthly totals so far:

January: 3,280

February 16,110

March: 7,305

April: 9,275

May: 5,985

June: 1,499

July: 20,125.

With over 20,125 ITA’s issued this month across 8 draws, IRCC can expect an influx of applications to process over the next 60 days. This could result in extended processing delays for applicants who received an ITA.

With today’s draw, IRCC is also on its way to establishing a schedule for PNP draws, by holding PNP draws every 2 weeks for the last couple of months, resembling pre-Covid Express Entry draws.

Comparisons to Previous Draws

This is the third PNP draw this month and the fifth PNP draw so far this year.

In total, 7,759 PNP applicants have received an ITA this year, 3,275 of these in July alone. Today’s draw is comparable to other PNP draws we have seen this year, which are as follows:

• Draw 303- July 16th, 2024, 1,391 ITA’s issued with a CRS cut-off of 670
• Draw 299- July 2nd, 2024, 920 ITA’s issued with a CRS cut-off of 739
• Draw 298- June 19th, 2024, 1,499 ITA’s issued with a CRS cut-off of 663
• Draw 296- May 30th, 2024, 2,985 ITA’s issued with a CRS cut-off of 676

If IRCC continues to hold PNP draws every two weeks, we expect the number of ITA’s to be issued to be between 900 and 1500 along with a CRS score of between 650 and 700.
