Canada celebrates Financial Literacy Month every November -- and this year's celebration marks the 14th edition. The theme? "Money on your mind? Talk about it!"

Here’s what the Government announcement says about this year’s event:

“Talking about money remains a taboo for many Canadians. People can find it difficult to discuss financial matters, such as personal debt, with family and friends. Many feel shame or embarrassment, or are worried about being judged.

Research shows that talking about money builds financial confidence, and can lead to better financial outcomes. This is especially true for women.”

In honour of this year’s theme, we’ve compiled our top resources about debt, money, and finances for newcomers. And we’re keen to start a conversation about it!

So, if you have a topic you’d like us to cover, drop us a note via the form below. Let’s talk about money!
