Newfoundland and Labrador issued 362 invitations through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program.
The NLPNP allows the province to nominate candidates for permanent residence who meet provincial labour market needs. Candidates invited through this program may apply for provincial nomination from Newfoundland and Labrador.
A total of 83 invitations were issued through the Atlantic Immigration Program.
The Atlantic Immigration Program allows employers in Atlantic Canada to hire foreign nationals for positions they have been unable to fill locally. Candidates invited through this pathway may pursue permanent residence through employer support in the region.
Recent invitation rounds from Newfoundland and Labrador show several draws through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP). The March 6, 2026 round issued the largest number of invitations among the most recent rounds.
