Our Analysis of This PNP Express Entry Draw on June 23, 2025
Today’s PNP-specific Express Entry draw issued 502 invitations, with a minimum CRS score of 742. This brings the total number of ITAs issued to PNP candidates in 2025 to 5,494 so far.
Notably, this is the third PNP-specific Express Entry draw in June and also the largest – the first two saw 277 and 125 invitations respectively, for a combined total of 402. With this third draw alone issuing 502 ITAs, it represents a significant increase in selection activity for PNP candidates, suggesting more PNP eligible candidate have entered the pool in the last couple of weeks.
Other Takeaways from This Draw
The rapid expansion of the Express Entry pool has clearly cooled. Compared to the last update on June 11, the total number of profiles in the pool actually decreased, falling from 257,557 to 256,754, a net drop of 803 profiles. It’s a notable shift from the consistent growth observed throughout May and early June.
Most of this decline came from the higher CRS ranges. There were 2,106 fewer candidates in the 501–600 bracket, likely reflecting the impact of the larger CEC-specific draw on June 12. That drop is an encouraging signal — for the first time in a while, more invitations have been issued than new high-scoring candidates entering the pool. Meanwhile, the 451–500 range saw a modest bump of around 500 profiles, pointing to ongoing activity among mid- to high-scoring applicants.
This doesn’t necessarily indicate a long-term trend, but it highlights just how fluid the Express Entry pool can be, especially when larger draws are in play. But as always, as competition stays high, now’s a critical time to review your profile and ensure you’re maximizing every CRS point you’re eligible for.
