These draws focused on candidates already working in Ontario in key sectors such as healthcare and early childhood education, as well as those with job offers in select regional communities.
Ontario invited 1,590 candidates through the Employer Job Offer streams – including the Foreign Worker, International Student, and In-Demand Skills categories. Eligible occupations included:
Note that workers across Ontario are eligible for this draw, it’s not location-specific.

An additional 90 candidates were invited through the REDI pilot, targeting workers with job offers in Lambton, Lanark, and Leeds and Grenville.
These workers must currently reside in Canada to be eligible, but invitations were issued across the Employer Job Offer; Foreign Worker, International Student and In-Demand skills streams. However, the occupations targeted were specific to the individual streams. Here’s who was invited for each stream:
Invitations were issued to workers with a score of 51 or higher and who were eligible for the REDI draw in the Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream in the following target occupations:
International graduates needed a score of 75 or higher and to be working in one of the following targeted occupations to be eligible for this REDI draw:
Workers with a score of 33 or higher and a job in a targeted occupation outlined below may be eligible for Ontario’s recent REDI draw:
This latest OINP round follows similar healthcare and early childhood education draws held in June and September, suggesting Ontario continues to prioritize critical occupations in healthcare, long-term care, and early childhood education.
Together, these rounds have now issued over 4,000 invitations in 2025, despite Ontario’s reduced federal nomination allocation. The province has focused on in-demand, locally based roles as it works to manage application volumes and meet pressing labour needs. Ontario’s October draw reflects the wider national focus on retaining workers already in Canada.
Healthcare and childcare remain key priorities: Candidates with valid Ontario job offers in these sectors stand strong chances of selection.
Regional pathways continue to grow: Through the REDI pilot, Ontario continues encouraging settlement outside the Greater Toronto Area.
Employer participation is essential: All applications in the Employer Job Offer stream must now begin with an employer-initiated registration in the new portal.
Ontario’s latest draws show that, despite reduced nomination spaces in 2025, the province continues to use its allocations strategically — focusing on occupations tied to essential services, community growth, and regional development.
