- This week, Canada held two Express Entry draws: a general draw and a French-speaking draw.
- The general draw on March 25, invited 1,980 candidates with a CRS cut-off of 524 points, marking the lowest cut-off of the year
- Meanwhile, the French-speaking draw on March 26, invited 1,500 candidates with a CRS cut-off of 388 points, the highest cutoff score this year. But, it yielded the fewest invitations compared to similar past draws.
- This week, General draw CRS scores continued their steady decline, paving the way for future draws to provide opportunities to candidates scoring below 500.
- Still, try to boost your PR invitation odds by aiming for 500-range scores which will require extra points from language skills, getting a job offer or PNP nomination.
- Alternatively, consider category-based draws and analyze trends strategically to boost your chances of PR selection.
- For example, French language draws have particularly stood out since their introduction last summer, issuing an impressive 19,700 invitations. This far exceeds any other category, with healthcare coming in second at 9,100 invitations.
