Watch this reel for a quick breakdown of this week’s Express Entry draws:
This latest PNP draw resumes the recent trend of bi-weekly PNP draws after an unusual September that saw only one PNP draw. This draw invited substantially fewer candidates (648) compared to the first PNP draw in October, which saw 1,613 candidates invited.
Notably, this draw was the smallest PNP draw we have seen in 2024, and as a result, had the highest CRS cut-off (791) compared to other PNP draws in 2024.
Today’s draw brings the total number of Express Entry PNP draws in 2024 to ten, with 12,815 invitations issued in those draws.
Per month, this is broken down as follows: May: 2,985 June: 1,499 July: 3,275 August: 1,884 September: 911 October: 2,261
From January to April, IRCC invited PNP applicants through general draws. We do not have the exact number of provincial nominees invited during these rounds.

So far, 3,761 invitations have been issued. As we close October, based on past months, we could still see a Canadian Experience Class draw issuing between 3,000 and 4,000 invitations and a category-based draw issuing between 1,000 and 2,000 invitations. This would mean between 4,000 and 6,000 more invitations could be issued before the end of October.
