About the Author

Edana joined the Moving2Canada team in 2026. She has four years of experience writing about all things Canadian immigration.
She is from Nova Scotia and graduated from the University of King’s College with a Bachelor of Journalism (Honours). She has a passion for writing news and helping newcomers stay informed of the updates that impact their lives.

After school she moved to the UK for a little while, gaining some perspective on the challenges of moving abroad.  Upon her return to Canada, she spent a few years working in the travel industry and seeing as much of the world as possible.

These days she’s living in Toronto and spends her free time with her family. Once they’re finally in bed, she likes reading, watching bad movies, jogging and reminding her corgi that she’s a very good girl.
