The November 14, 2025 draw invited 80 candidates through the:
This round continues Alberta’s series of health-care–focused draws through the Express Entry stream, following earlier Priority Sectors (Health Care) rounds on October 24, September 9, June 5, and April 3, 2025.
Just a few days earlier, on November 10, 2025, Alberta issued one of its larger draws of the year under the Alberta Opportunity Stream:
This continues the pattern of large Alberta Opportunity Stream draws seen on October 23 (900 invitations), October 1 (1,003), September 12 (1,113), and September 4 (891). If you’re already working in Alberta with a valid job offer, the Alberta Opportunity Stream remains one of the steadier routes. Recent rounds show that scores in the mid-50s to low-60s often stay competitive, which is encouraging if you’ve been building experience in the province.
For candidates in health care, Alberta’s repeated Priority Sectors and Dedicated Health Care draws make this one of the most active pathways of the year. If you’re in the Express Entry pool with recent health-care experience, it’s definitely worth keeping an eye on these rounds.
Alberta also received a notable allocation increase in September, bringing the AAIP’s 2025 total to 6,403 nominations – more than 1,500 extra spots to work with. The province says this added room will help meet regional labour needs.
Overall, Alberta continues to favour targeted, sector-specific draws, so setting up an accurate profile in the right stream makes a real difference when your turn comes up.
