But it isn’t all great news. As of November 15, 2024, other regulations introduced alongside increased hours will also come into effect.

In case you’re confused, here is a summary of how many hours international Students can work off-campus:
International students who are eligible to work off-campus during term time can work 24 hours per week (effective November 15, 2024).
International students who are eligible to work off-campus can work full-time during scheduled breaks. There is no definition of how many hours make up full-time work.
Upon Graduation, an international student may work full-time if they have applied for a Post Graduation Work Permit or they will be starting a new Study program.
