On July 7, 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced that the proof of funds requirement for the Express Entry system will increase.
If you have an active Express Entry profile and are required to show proof of funds, you must update your profile by July 28, 2025, to remain eligible. Profiles that do not reflect the new funds requirement will be removed from the pool and will no longer be considered for invitations.
