The draw included candidates in the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas pathways. Only those who had a direct invitation from the MPNP through a strategic recruitment initiative were considered.

In total, the province issued 63 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs). Invitations were distributed across the following strategic recruitment initiatives:
Of the 63 candidates invited, only 8 had a valid Express Entry profile.
Check out our PNP tracker for updates on draws.
This draw was smaller than the one held on December 5 that invited 184 candidates. Although it still focused on those with strong ties to Manitoba, such as employers, Francophone communities, or regional programs.
This round, a small number of invitations also went to candidates under the Temporary Public Policy (TPP), which has now come to an end. Manitoba accepted Support Letter applications until December 15, 2025, with the online form closing on December 16. Candidates who receive a Support Letter can still apply to IRCC until December 31, 2025. It’s likely that the province is finishing selections under this program as the year ends.

With the end of the year approaching, several provinces have already announced that their 2025 PNP allocations are full, with programs set to reopen in January 2026. However, Manitoba has yet to make any such announcements and draws may still happen before the end of December, but they are likely to remain limited in size.
As provinces begin sharing early details about their 2026 nomination allocations, more updates could arrive before the end of the year. British Columbia has already confirmed its 2026 allocation, which came in lower than expected. While nothing is confirmed for other provinces yet, similar announcements may follow in the coming weeks. Hopefully, Manitoba’s update when it arrives will bring more positive news for candidates than what we’ve seen from B.C.
