You now get to choose which Immigration news publishers you see first in your Google search page. Here’s how you can put Moving2Canada at the top of your list.

What is a Google Preferred Source?

Google recently launched globally a feature called Preferred Sources, which lets you choose your favourite news sites to appear more prominently within the Top Stories section of your search results.

When a source you’ve selected has published fresh, relevant content matching your search, Google will surface it higher up, so you see it without having to hunt for it.

For example, if you are searching for the latest Express Entry draws, Provincial Nominee Program updates, visa news, immigration policy changes, and settlement tips, adding Moving2Canada as a preferred source means you’ll see our most recent coverage right when you search for it, without having to dig into unverified sources to find it.

How do I set Moving2Canada as my preferred source on Google?

To see the latest Moving2Canada  immigration news and updates that matter first in your Google search results, follow one of these two methods.

Why it Matters for your Immigration Journey

Canadian immigration moves fast. Express Entry draws happen with little warning, PNP streams update, new streams are opened and closed, and policy changes, and all of these changes can affect your eligibility overnight.

With AI summaries now dominating the top of Google search results, trusted, expert-written immigration news is getting harder to find.

By setting Moving2Canada as a preferred source, you’re telling Google to surface our guides, news, and updates more prominently, so you spend less time searching and more time taking action.

Moving2Canada has helped over 190,000 people navigate Canada’s immigration system in 2026. Our team of regulated consultants and immigration specialists keeps our content accurate, current, and written for real people at every stage of the process.

Where do my Preferred Sources Appear?

On both desktop and mobile, your Preferred Sources appear in Google’s Top Stories results. Look for the “From your sources” subsection; that’s where Moving2Canada will appear once you’ve added it.

One tap now means better immigration news every time you search!
