Dane is an experienced digital storyteller whose work spans written content, podcasts, and videos. He’s covered Canadian immigration since 2016, covering immigration news and settlement resources.
Dane also independently covers contemporary LGBTQ+ issues in Canada and is an award-winning podcast producer. His work has been featured around the world including in CBC News, The Guardian (UK) and JOY Radio (Australia).
Dane completed a Bachelor’s of English at McGill University and a Master’s in Arts at Concordia University. Although Dane is not an immigrant himself, he is a strong believer in the radical and transformative potential for newcomers to shape the future of Canada.
