Viewers in Calgary were treated to something different last night – a lil’ glimpse of Gaelic Football, courtesy of the Calgary Chieftains GAA club.

Global News broadcast a feature on the club and spoke to its members all about the sport and why it’s such an enjoyable spectacle.

“What we’re really pushing at the moment is Canadians and non-Irish people, and trying to get them into the club,” Calgary Chieftains chairman, James Doyle told viewers.
